PhaseThree: We Introduce
The goal of Phase Three is the reintroduction of children to their parents/guardians. All concerned parties are encouraged to visit Northwest State Correctional Facility and share with their children this enlightening experience of life behind bars. During this visit, THE GET A L.I.F.E. Facilitators will share their personal stories concerning relationships with family, friends, and peers, both before and during imprisonment. These stories are offered with hope the Facilitators can familiarize the visitors with the warning signs their own family missed.
Facilitators will focus on communication links between both parties. Children will be encouraged to relate to their parents, guardians, or whomever is responsible for that child.
